Fortnite Item Shop Resets Daily at Midnight UTC Across All Regions

Fortnite's Item Shop updates once daily at 00:00 UTC, the same moment for all players worldwide. The local reset time depends on your timezone. Players in the US experience the refresh at 8 PM ET or 5 PM PT, while players in India see it at 5:30 AM IST, and those in the UK at 1 AM BST.

Not every section of the shop rotates on the same schedule. While some items leave and new ones arrive each day, collaboration bundles and event sections often remain available across multiple daily resets. Recent examples include the Five Nights at Freddy's bundle and the Madison Beer skin, both of which stayed in the shop through several rotations.

Each section displays its own countdown timer in-game, showing exactly when that section's items will leave the shop. Players can also check the current inventory without launching Fortnite by visiting the official Fortnite Item Shop page on Epic Games' website.

The shop typically updates on schedule, though server maintenance or game updates occasionally cause delays. Epic Games posts notifications about downtime through the Fortnite Status account on X. When daylight saving time occurs in your region, your local reset time shifts by an hour, though the UTC reset time remains fixed at midnight.

Epic does not reveal the next day's shop before it goes live. While some community sites leak items from game files, these items may change or be removed before release. The Fortnite Wiki maintains a history of past Item Shop appearances, which players can use to estimate when skins might return.
