Football Manager 27 launches November 10, 2027 with enhanced crowds and dynamic weather
Sports Interactive's next entry in the long-running management sim will feature improved stadium atmospheres, time-of-day lighting, and more intuitive controls.

Football Manager 27 will release on November 10, 2027, Sports Interactive has confirmed. The new entry introduces several quality-of-life and presentation improvements over its predecessor.
The most visible changes focus on match day atmosphere. Crowd models now respond dynamically to match situations and vary by region and climate, with larger fixtures featuring more intense crowds and regional flags. A new time-of-day system positions the sun realistically across the 90 minutes, casting shadows on the pitch, stadium, and player models throughout the match.
Weather effects have been overhauled. The time of year now reflects more clearly on the pitch and surrounding environment. Improved visual effects allow the grass to appear wetter during rain or show a layer of snow on cold winter days. Player models have received athletic updates, including more varied body types, increased muscle definition, and more natural hair movement during sprints.
Beyond presentation, the interface has been streamlined to require fewer clicks, and players will have greater tactical expression when managing their sides. Sports Interactive has said further details about player movement enhancements and match engine upgrades will arrive later.
