Fool King Launches November 2026 as Asynchronous Autobattler with Player-vs-Player Throne Battles
The stylish fantasy autobattler Fool King debuts November 16, 2026. Players build custom troop formations to battle other players' armies asynchronously, with victors claiming the throne and declaring special decrees that affect future challengers.

Fool King, an asynchronous autobattler with a fantasy setting, launches November 16, 2026 on PC. The game debuted a new trailer at PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct.
In Fool King, players construct armies from medieval and fantasy units including archers, catapults, knights, fire wizards, hell bats, and a large unit called hammer. Before battle, players can imbue their troops with godly powers, choosing from four playstyles and over 120 upgrades. Options include teleporting to attacking enemies, granting melee units a 50% attack speed buff, or turning touched foes undead.
Combat is asynchronous, meaning players face off against other players' armies rather than real-time opponents. The game incorporates terrain strategy, allowing players to use choke points like bridges or tall grass for tactical advantage.
Defeating other players' armies allows players to claim the throne and declare rule-breaking decrees that affect subsequent challengers. The exact mechanics of these decrees remain unclear ahead of launch.
A demo is available now on Steam. Players can wishlist the full game on the platform ahead of its November 16, 2026 release.
