Five Games Join Xbox Game Pass This Week, Including Dune: Awakening

Microsoft is bringing five new titles to Xbox Game Pass over the coming days, headlined by Dune: Awakening making its console debut on September 22.

Three games are launching day one on Game Pass. Dune: Awakening is an open-world survival game that lets players explore, build, and craft on the planet Arrakis. The game arrived on PC last year and has been positively received. Well Dweller, also arriving September 22, is a dark metroidvania inspired by titles like Hollow Knight. Players control Glimmer, a tiny bird with a matchstick, trying to save his family from a wicked queen. Mad King Redemption launches September 23 and blends traditional beat 'em up combat with roguelite progression in a pixelated 2.5D world.

Two established games are joining Game Pass on new tiers. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 arrives on Xbox Game Pass Premium for the first time on September 25, though it is already available on Ultimate and PC tiers. The game includes a single-player campaign, multiplayer modes, and round-based Zombies. Rematch, an online multiplayer football game featuring fast-paced 5v5 matches, joins Xbox Game Pass Essential on September 25 after already being available on Ultimate, PC, and Premium tiers.

Dune: Awakening is available on Series X|S, PC, and Cloud through Ultimate, PC, and Premium tiers. Well Dweller launches on console, PC, and Cloud via Ultimate and PC. Mad King Redemption comes to Series X|S, PC, and Cloud on Ultimate, PC, and Premium. Rematch joins Series X|S, PC, and Cloud on Essential, while remaining on the other tiers.
