First Hands-Off Previews for GTA 6 Begin to Roll In Following Netflix Extended Look Showcase
Rockstar Games and Take-Two have given selected reporters a 30-minute hands-off look at GTA 6 during the Netflix Extended Look showcase.
The first hands-off previews for Grand Theft Auto 6 have begun to roll in, arriving alongside the Netflix Extended Look showcase. According to reports, Rockstar Games and Take-Two provided at least two reporters with an in-person, hands-off look at 30 minutes of gameplay presented by Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson.
Reviewers detailing the presentation have pointed out the immense scope of the upcoming open-world title, describing a living world full of characters and NPCs that function like real people. Impressions indicate that unlike Grand Theft Auto 5 and Grand Theft Auto Online, which allowed players to more easily turn their brains off, the gameplay experience in GTA 6 draws comparisons to Red Dead Redemption 2 by forcing players to constantly make meaningful decisions where actions carry significant weight.
As these initial impressions are strictly hands-off previews, reporters have not yet had the opportunity to play the game directly. Fans waiting to experience the title themselves will have to wait until its scheduled release later this year on November 19th.
