Fibrus TV Launches in Mid-September with PLEIO Cloud Gaming and Over 300 Games

Northern Ireland broadband provider Fibrus has announced Fibrus TV, a new PLEIO-powered entertainment service launching in mid-September featuring over 300 cloud games.

Northern Ireland-based broadband provider Fibrus has announced the upcoming launch of Fibrus TV, a new entertainment service powered by PLEIO that is scheduled to debut in mid-September. The new package is built directly into Fibrus's broadband offering and includes a library of more than 300 cloud games as part of the core experience, alongside a wireless gamepad included with the package.

Rather than existing as a separate gaming add-on, the gaming catalogue is integrated into the broader television package. The device brings together live television through Freely featuring over 100 channels, around 150 additional streamed channels, and various entertainment apps via Google Play. The service starts at £7.99 per month for both new and existing Fibrus broadband customers.

The integration of PLEIO on Fibrus TV is part of Netgem's wider WATCH. STREAM. PLAY. platform. This announcement arrives shortly after another major UK deployment confirmation for PLEIO, with Vodafone TV scheduled to launch in October featuring more than 300 integrated cloud games alongside separate access to Blacknut. For Netgem, the Fibrus deployment adds another UK broadband partner utilizing the embedded television and cloud gaming bundle approach ahead of its mid-September rollout.
