Farming Simulator 25 Surpasses 5 Million Sold & Reveals Bananas for Beans & Alpacas DLC

GIANTS Software announced that Farming Simulator 25 has exceeded 5 million copies sold worldwide and revealed the upcoming Beans & Alpacas DLC expansion.

GIANTS Software has announced that Farming Simulator 25 has officially surpassed 5 million copies sold globally since its November 12, 2024 launch. Alongside this major milestone, the publisher detailed the upcoming Beans & Alpacas expansion, which draws inspiration from South American agriculture and introduces fresh crops, animals, equipment, and gameplay mechanics.

The upcoming expansion brings a specialized banana cultivation system allowing virtual farmers to establish plantations, configure rail systems, and utilize washing stations for harvest processing. Players can manage plant diseases using new fungicides, and harvest bananas either manually with a machete or automatically via hired workers. Furthermore, the new Catuaí map enables year-round banana cultivation. The expansion is slated for release on October 27 as a standalone purchase, part of a bundle featuring the base game, or included within the Year 2 Season Pass, which provides up to 30 percent savings.

Ahead of its launch, Beans & Alpacas will be playable at gamescom in Cologne, Germany, running from August 26 to 30. GIANTS Software will occupy Hall 6 alongside a broad lineup featuring Farming Simulator: Signature Edition for Nintendo Switch 2, Farming Simulator 26 for mobile, and Project Motor Racing. GIANTS Software also confirmed ongoing support for Farming Simulator 25 through free content updates and community creations via the official ModHub.
