Expelled from Paradise -The Stellar Angel- Visual Novel Launches Worldwide in November 2026

Studio51 and Toei Animation have confirmed that Expelled from Paradise -The Stellar Angel- will release for Nintendo Switch and PC on November 26, 2026.

Developer Studio51 and publisher Toei Animation have officially confirmed the release date for Expelled from Paradise -The Stellar Angel-. The upcoming visual novel, themed after the 2014 animated film, is scheduled to launch worldwide for the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on November 26, 2026, at midnight Japan time. It will be available in both Japanese and English languages.

First revealed in May 2026, the game features a brand-new story starring characters Angela Balzac and Zarik "Dingo" Kajiwara. Set after the events of the 2014 movie, newly published screenshots confirm that players will experience the narrative primarily from Angela's perspective. The visual novel incorporates story branches leading to multiple endings, including several that can result in irreversible bad endings.

Additionally, promotional materials highlight the inclusion of the K2-System, which allows Angela to make sudden interjections during the story. This system features two distinct modes known as Kizuna (Relationship Bonds) and Kakugo (Readiness). While Gen Urobuchi wrote the original 2014 movie and the upcoming Expelled from Paradise: Resonance film, he is not directly involved in the game project. Instead, the narrative is penned by Shotaro Teshirogi, who previously authored the prequel novel Expelled from Paradise: mission.0.
