Escape from Tarkov Boosts PvP Rewards in Seasonal Mode Event
Battlestate Games has launched a limited-time event in Escape from Tarkov's Kord Breach seasonal mode, significantly increasing XP rewards for player-versus-player combat to encourage more aggressive gameplay.

Battlestate Games has activated a new limited-time event in Escape from Tarkov's seasonal Kord Breach mode designed to incentivize player combat. The event substantially increases XP rewards for PvP-related actions, running until October 5 at 10:00 AM BST.
The XP boost applies to core combat activities. Eliminating a PMC now grants 600 XP instead of 120. Killing a Scav, including player-controlled Scavs, awards 110 XP rather than 55. Picking up a PMC dogtag provides 200 XP compared to the standard 20 XP.
The event follows Escape from Tarkov's shift to a seasonal model introduced weeks earlier. That launch included a battle pass system alongside the Kord Breach mode. A Lighthouse-based event preceded this current promotion, during which Battlestate released a map overhaul featuring new quests, redesigned points of interest, relocated enemies, and temporarily boosted airdrop rates.
Battlestate confirmed that a positive change from the previous event will persist. Operational, or daily, tasks will continue rewarding players with battle pass documents, a modification the studio described as genuinely helpful.
