Escape from Tarkov Update 1.1.5.0 Changes Icebreaker Travel and Introduces Sudak-Tudak Items

In the 1.1.5.0 update for Escape from Tarkov, developer Battlestate Games implemented a major amendment to how players transition to Icebreaker, the game's newest map. Previously, players had to part ways with 400,000 rubles—a cost later increased to 700,000 rubles—every time they wanted to travel to the map. Following the update, players can board the hovercraft and sail over the ocean using a new item called a Sudak-Tudak marine repair kit.

The easiest way to acquire a Sudak-Tudak is by completing the new "Pay the Fare" quest for Ragman. To unlock this task, players must progress through the Boreas story chapter, which unlocks the Icebreaker map. Completing the quest rewards players with 30,000 EXP alongside Sudak-Tudak marine repair kits—yielding 10 kits for PvE players and five for PvP players. Once finished, players also unlock a repeatable operational task to collect more kits.

The Sudak-Tudak items can be found all over Escape from Tarkov on basically any map, with toolboxes and locked brown crates serving as prime locations to search. The item weighs 4.5 kg, cannot be listed for sale on the flea market, and must be placed in a special item slot, preventing it from being looted from other players. With a Sudak-Tudak in hand, players can access the Icebreaker transit located on either Lighthouse or Shoreline.
