Escape from Tarkov Event Rewards Battle Pass Documents Through Daily Quests

Battlestate Games has introduced a new event for Escape from Tarkov that reshapes daily task rewards by offering battle pass documents for the Kord Breach battle pass. The event narrative centers on an escalating conflict between the game's Scav faction and PMC mercenary groups competing over valuable supplies and documentation.

According to the developer's announcement, the event story begins with rumors among Scavs about a convoy of fighters in black uniforms that came under mortar fire. Attackers seized two vehicles containing various documents allegedly connected to TerraGroup. Some of these documents were subsequently sold to traders in exchange for supplies that Scavs describe as being "worth more than any amount of money." This development prompted PMCs to appear at trader bases, where they received urgent assignments to search for and recover the intercepted TerraGroup documentation.

The Lighthouse area remains the primary focus of this conflict, with firefights between PMC groups and Scavs continuing with sustained intensity. Developers attribute some of this activity to a temporary increase in airdrops along the coastline, creating additional cargo movement that has drawn player attention to the region.

Players can refresh their daily operational tasks using the replace option or by waiting for natural task refreshes to pursue these battle pass document rewards. The event offers players a direct path to climbing the Kord Breach battle pass tiers through standard daily quest completion, though refreshing tasks may result in trader reputation adjustments.

The event appears geared toward rewarding participation in the ongoing factional conflict, with Lighthouse operations providing the most relevant engagement opportunities. While the event has sparked speculation about connections to the impending Scav Life DLC, Battlestate Games has not made any official announcements regarding that expansion.
