Escape from Tarkov Arena Prepares for Third Season Named Morbus Imperium
Battlestate Games is preparing the third season of Escape from Tarkov Arena, titled Morbus Imperium, which studio head Nikita Buyanov calls the biggest update yet.

Battlestate Games is preparing a major update for Escape from Tarkov Arena, with studio head Nikita Buyanov revealing that the third season of content will be the biggest in the game's history. Released at the end of 2023 as a companion title to the core extraction shooter, Arena has maintained a steady following while developers continuously introduced new maps, weapons, game mechanics, and integrations with the main game.
Titled Morbus Imperium, the upcoming third season is scheduled to launch in late October. While developer details remain limited ahead of the release, official teasers have confirmed several key additions. Players can expect an updated version of the Blastgang mode alongside a brand new map themed around the familiar Lab environment from Escape from Tarkov. Additionally, the update will introduce a fresh battle pass featuring various unlockable rewards for active participants.
Although it is only the third season since the game launched, the upcoming content drop represents ongoing development for the standalone competitive title. Battlestate Games has steadily worked to evolve the companion project through successive updates, keeping players engaged as the October release window approaches.
