EA Sports FC 27 Launch Schedule Confirmed Alongside Major Football Ultimate Team Changes

EA Sports FC 27 will launch worldwide on September 25, 2026, on consoles, while the PC version becomes available on September 24 at 11:00 PM UTC. Players purchasing the Ultimate Edition gain early access ahead of the official worldwide launch. PC players with the Ultimate Edition can start playing on September 17 at 11:00 PM UTC, while console players on other platforms access the game starting September 18 at 12:00 AM local time. Additionally, EA Play Pro members receive a ten-hour trial beginning on September 18.

The companion rollout begins with the EA Sports FC 27 Web App on September 16, followed by the refreshed Companion App on September 17. Alongside the release timeline, EA confirmed major adjustments to Football Ultimate Team. The update increases the availability of tradeable rewards across Objectives and game modes, letting players sell unwanted items, purchase Transfer Market players, or spend Coins on Evolutions.

Champions Tokens are returning to the game and can be exchanged in the Champions Token Store. Rewards include Champions Team of the Week players, Red Item designs, Evolutions, and cosmetic items like celebrations. Another new feature lets the community vote to select a player for each of the first six Team of the Week squads during Season 1, with selected athletes receiving an in-game Community Player marker. The broader update also introduces Holographic Player Items, Streamlined SBCs, higher match earnings, and changes to player progression alongside updates for Career Mode and The Grounds.
