EA Sports FC 27 Early Access Trial Live Now on Xbox via EA Play

The EA Sports FC 27 early access trial launched today on Xbox platforms for Game Pass subscribers. The 10-hour trial is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox on PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members.

Progress from the trial carries directly into the full game upon purchase, allowing players to continue their season without starting over. Members who buy the full game also receive a 10% discount on the base game, FC Points, and other EA digital purchases.

Subscribers gain access to recurring member rewards including Ultimate Team Draft Tokens and other in-game items. The trial lets players experience the core gameplay improvements and new modes arriving in FC 27 before committing to a purchase.

EA Sports FC 27 introduces The Grounds, a new social hub available on Xbox Series X|S where players can participate in Kickabouts, 1v1 matches, and 2v2 games alongside larger 11v11 stadium tournaments through the Clubs mode. The mode focuses on building relationships with football mentors and developing skills on and off the pitch across three distinct districts.

Gameplay enhancements include improved spatial awareness for attacking plays, intelligent curved runs from teammates, new off-balance dribbling that maintains momentum through physical challenges, and redesigned set pieces with real-time positioning control. A revamped two-player header system delivers more competitive aerial battles.

Football Ultimate Team receives a Gallery feature allowing players to curate and grade Player Items across clubs, leagues, nations, and FUT campaigns. Increasing Gallery Level unlocks rewards and builds club identity throughout the season.

Manager Career mode features a fully rebuilt Transfer Market with player values influenced by club buying power, potential ratings, and form. New negotiation options include performance and buy-back clauses, while Dynamic OVRs reflect player form, morale, and fitness across all clubs.

The game features match data from the world's top leagues powering over 21,000 licensed players. FC 27 includes optional in-game purchases of virtual currency for acquiring virtual items, including random selections.

EA Play members jumping into The Grounds before December 1 can claim an exclusive member reward featuring a fresh look for the mode.
