EA Sports Cuts Weekly Season Points Rewards in FC 27 Ahead of Full Launch

EA Sports has reduced weekly Season Points rewards in EA FC 27 ahead of the game's full launch, according to changes documented during the early access period.
Season Points, or SP, are earned across all game modes by playing matches and completing objectives. They unlock progression along the Season Pass, providing rewards including cosmetics, Career Mode players, and Ultimate Team items.
The reduction came as a response to unintended progression during early access. Players who purchased the Ultimate Edition received up to seven days of early play, which naturally provided an advantage. However, some players managed to bypass the maximum daily XP limit of 850 SP and reached the maximum Season Pass level before the broader player base could begin.
"The nerf to SP from Weekly Objectives will slow that charge down," according to reports from the community. However, the change means casual players now have less SP to earn weekly, extending the time needed to complete the pass.
The current season runs for four more weeks, and EA Sports has not ruled out further adjustments to the SP system. The full launch of EA FC 27 will likely bring additional objectives that could offset the weekly reduction.
