Danil "donk" Kryshkovets has guided Gambit Esports to back-to-back tournament victories, most recently capturing the BLAST Open Porto title. The acclaimed CS:GO rifler secured another HLTV MVP award in the process, edging out teammate Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov for the honor.

In the Porto final, Spirit claimed revenge against MOUZ, the only top-seven team they had not yet defeated this season. MOUZ had previously bested Spirit at BLAST Bounty S2 earlier in the campaign. "It's an amazing feeling because it was the last team that we have not beaten yet," donk told HLTV after the victory. "We've beaten all the top teams, the top seven I would say, and the only team that we didn't beat was MOUZ."

Despite the consecutive wins, donk tempered expectations about Spirit's current form under in-game leader Boris "magixx" Vorobiev. He credited team improvements and problem-solving for the dominant Porto performance, where Spirit controlled all four maps against MOUZ. However, he cautioned that consistency will be the true test.

"The hardest part of being at the top is staying at the top," donk stated. He deferred judgment on whether Spirit has reached peak form until their next major tournament—ESIC Pro League in Katowice, scheduled approximately one month out. "We will see how we perform there, and then I think we can discuss," he said.
