Discord and Riot Games Leak Points to Free In-Game Credits for Nitro Subscribers

Discord and Riot Games may launch a partnership that provides free in-game credits to Discord Nitro subscribers, according to recent leaks. The information originated from an X post by the account known as Discord Previews. Under the reported promotion, eligible Nitro users would receive $10 worth of credit for items in either Valorant or League of Legends. Once the promotion goes live, users will reportedly be able to see it directly inside their Discord Nitro tab.

While the leak outlines the potential reward, several key details remain unconfirmed. The promotional phrasing refers to the reward generally as credit rather than specific currency names like Riot Points or Valorant Points. Furthermore, the phrasing suggests players might have to choose between Valorant or League of Legends to receive the credit. Specifics regarding delivery methods, such as redeemable codes or direct account linking, and regional eligibility have not been detailed.

Community reactions to the leaked collaboration are mixed. Some players express excitement over the potential freebie, while others question whether the offer will be available universally. Skeptics point to the term eligible and suggest the promotion could be restricted to certain geographic regions or specific subscription tiers. Neither Discord nor Riot Games has officially confirmed the partnership, and players should treat the information as a rumor until an announcement is made. This leak follows another report from the same account regarding a potential Game Mode designed to reduce CPU and GPU usage on the platform.
