Blizzard gifts Diablo 4 players rare Resplendent Spark to apologize for Season 15 launch issues
Diablo 4's Season of Hell's Legacy suffered server problems and login delays at launch. Blizzard distributed Resplendent Sparks, one of the game's rarest crafting materials, as compensation through the in-game mail system.

Diablo 4's Season of Hell's Legacy launched over two weeks ago following BlizzCon, but players encountered significant technical problems from the start. A multi-hour delay caused by login errors and server outages disrupted the season opener, and Blizzard has now apologized by distributing one of the game's most coveted items.
Players who logged in received a Resplendent Spark via the Horadric Post mailing system, accompanied by an in-game message from Blizzard. "We're sorry for any unexpected issues you may have experienced," the message stated. "Thank you for standing with us. Please accept this token of appreciation for our journey ahead."
Resplendent Sparks are essential for crafting Mythic Unique weapons and gear, the most powerful equipment available in Diablo 4. Players typically spend hours grinding endgame content to obtain even a single spark, making this a meaningful gesture from Blizzard.
Not all players received the gift. Reports suggest only those directly affected by launch issues, such as players unable to claim a Resplendent Spark from the seasonal progression track, received the compensation. However, others may have missed it due to server problems.
Beyond the initial login and server issues, the season's launch also included gameplay bugs, including The Tree of Whispers failing to display rewards. Blizzard has since addressed all outstanding problems through patches and hotfixes released in the days following launch.
