Team Jade recently hosted the Delta Force Anniversary Season Developer Preview, providing players with a comprehensive look at upcoming content and celebrations for the game's second anniversary. The free-to-play shooter's next major update, titled Season Reorientation, is scheduled to release on September 8.
The update brings a variety of additions and improvements across both Extraction and Warfare modes. For Extraction players, the Layali Grove map is receiving an update that introduces three new zones, reworks the waterway, and opens up new exploration routes. Meanwhile, Warfare mode is getting a new map inspired by Black Hawk Down named The Mog. Designed to offer more realistic combat, The Mog also introduces a major visual upgrade for PC players who have compatible hardware.
Additionally, a new Operator duo consisting of a man and a canine companion is joining the roster. This duo will fill a support role, utilizing the canine to spot and track threats. Alongside these mode updates, developers announced new casual activities such as fishing, as well as the return of the “Play-as-a-boss” feature with Polaris Patrol.
