Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor Launches on PS5 This October
The popular Vampire Survivors-style spin-off Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is making its way to PlayStation 5 next month.

Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, the highly praised spin-off of the popular co-op mining game, is officially coming to PlayStation 5. The bullet heaven game is scheduled to launch on Sony's console on October 7, 2026, giving PlayStation players access to its horde-battling action.
The console release arrives shortly after the title spent time in Early Access and subsequently launched its 1.0 version on PC. Since its PC debut, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor has earned critical acclaim and a strong following. The game holds an impressive 86 Metascore alongside a Very Positive rating on Steam, backed by more than 24,000 user reviews.
While the title draws clear inspiration from Vampire Survivors (featuring automatic attacks, massive enemy waves, and rapid power scaling during single runs) it integrates unique mechanics from the core Deep Rock Galactic franchise. Players must mine for resources while fighting, which they can then spend on upgrades between floors or save for permanent progression upgrades between runs. Each stage also features optional objectives that award extra payouts upon completion.
The game features four distinct playable classes based on the original title: Scout, Gunner, Engineer, and Driller. Each class offers unique playstyles, requiring players to carefully plan their builds and level up strategically to survive the depths.
