Deadlock players have received a major update from Valve called City Never Sleeps, which includes six new characters awaiting community vote, UI improvements, additional voicelines, and a sweeping visual overhaul of the map.

The bases for Hidden King and Arch Mother remain unchanged, but the real transformation lies in the lanes and districts. York keeps its industrial foundation while gaining polished open spaces and grime, complete with the New York Stock Exchange near the Archmother's base. Broadway, the central lane, has been completely redesigned as the busiest hub of the map, featuring a highway, neon signs, towering skyscrapers, and steam vents that can temporarily hide and heal players.

Greenwich represents the third reworked lane with earthy, witchy vibes centered around a massive overhanging tree that players can climb for a better vantage point. Between the lanes, four new districts have been added: Theatre, Chinatown, Haunted Lot, and Plaza, each with updated environmental details called Haunts.

The update marks a significant visual evolution for the competitive MOBA, with Valve substantially expanding both gameplay spaces and environmental polish across the entire playable area.
