Cyberpunk 2077 Coming to Battle.net in 2026 With Overwatch Collaboration Planned

CD Projekt Red has announced that Cyberpunk 2077, the Phantom Liberty expansion, and the Ultimate Edition will be available on Battle.net. The news was revealed during BlizzCon by Blizzard Entertainment during a keynote panel titled Thirty Years of Battle.net With Special Guest CD PROJEKT RED. During the presentation, CD Projekt Red team members Amelia Korzycka, who serves as expert community and social media manager, and Miles Tost, who is the level design lead, discussed the new partnership.

Players will be able to purchase the base game and the expansion separately on Battle.net, or buy the Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition which includes both. The open world action adventure role playing game is scheduled to launch on the platform in 2026. This release follows other CD Projekt Red titles coming to the platform, including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered and its upcoming expansion Songs of the Past.

In addition to the PC storefront news, the companies announced a collaboration focused on the anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Overwatch players can look forward to both Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 collaborations coming to the hero shooter in 2027. This announcement coincided with the fourth anniversary of the anime series and preceded the premiere of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, which is scheduled to debut exclusively on Netflix on October 20.

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2, macOS, and PC platforms. The Battle.net release date expands the game's availability on computer storefronts further.
