Culdcept The First Saturn Tribute Available Digitally on Consoles

City Connection and Clear River Games have launched Culdcept The First Saturn Tribute digitally on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S. This follows the PC version of the game which was launched on Steam at the end of July. The console versions are priced at $29.99 and include the same quality of life features as the PC release.

Originally released in 1997, the strategy title blends board game tactics with card-based combat. Players step into the shoes of a Cepter, an adventurer wielding a book containing a self-constructed 50-card deck. Gamers traverse a board through dice rolls, claim and defend territories, summon creatures, and use Spell Cards to defeat opponents.

This enhanced version includes English subtitles for the first time. It also features modern quality of life updates designed for Western audiences. The main features include a Rewind function to return to any point where a checkpoint was passed at a fort or the castle. Quick Save and Load enables players to save and load at any time independently of the standard save function.

Additional features include a Bonus Pack that increases the number of reward cards received at the end of a match. This pack can be toggled on or off in the options menu. Reveal Hands is a brand new feature allowing gamers to constantly display both their own and their opponent's hand on screen. Language switching allows players to experience the game in either Japanese or English.

Following the digital launch, a physical version of the game is scheduled to ship for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 from November 5 through Clear River Games. The standard edition carries a suggested retail price of $29.99 or €29.99.
