Crimson Desert Update 2.02.00 Resolves DLSS Frame Generation Startup Crashes on PC and Mac
Pearl Abyss has released update version 2.02.00 for Crimson Desert on PC and Mac, fixing a bug that caused crashes when starting a new game with DLSS Frame Generation enabled.
Pearl Abyss has released update version 2.02.00 for the PC and Mac versions of Crimson Desert. The latest patch addresses several prominent technical issues, most notably a bug that caused the game to crash when players started a new game with DLSS Frame Generation enabled.
Alongside the graphics fix, the update implements multiple quality of life improvements and bug fixes across content, controls, user interface, localization, and miscellaneous settings. Content fixes resolve an issue where shining a lantern on an NPC failed to make their belongings visible, and correct a problem where housing would not become available after raising the banner at Howling Hill Camp while the inventory was full. The patch also addresses progression blockers, such as Thornbriar Fortress failing to liberate and missing items in Trade Goods Storage when loading specific save files. Additionally, a problem causing a letter to disappear during the quest "The Words of Alustin" has been fixed.
Control adjustments ensure that chaining "Descending Force Palm" after "Aerial Force Palm" functions properly across all situations. Graphical and user interface improvements tackle UI text shaking, noticeable indoor visual noise on armor, and unnatural appearance issues when Kliff wears the Crow Cloth Blindfold under certain settings. Localization updates improve translation quality across all supported languages and fix an issue where specific Arabic text failed to display correctly.
Pearl Abyss continues supporting the single-player narrative-driven title on PC and Mac as developers prepare for upcoming releases like Charting the Unknown. Players can download patch version 2.02.00 now.
