Corsair Announces Pricing for the TC80 Gaming Chair

Corsair has revealed the price for its upcoming TC80 gaming chair. The furniture piece will cost $200, £170, or €180, though the company notes that pricing is subject to change. The chair is designed with a more minimalist aesthetic that strips away traditional gaming chair stylings in favor of a look that could blend into an office environment. Features include a flat and wide base along with a subtle back and headrest design. However, the recline range is limited to between 90 and 115 degrees, and the armrests are not adjustable.

To ensure durability, Corsair subjects the TC80 to extensive testing procedures. This includes dropping 136 kg onto the seat and repeatedly applying force to various components to verify safety and longevity. Additionally, the manufacturer backs the product with a two-year warranty. At its price point, the TC80 undercuts several competitors in the budget sector, offering a more accessible alternative compared to premium options that often range between $500 and $600. Potential buyers should note that real-world comfort levels remain untested until hands-on reviews become available.
