Remedy Entertainment Reveals Final PC System Requirements for Control Resonant

Developer Remedy Entertainment has revealed the official final PC specifications for its upcoming action sequel, Control Resonant. The game is scheduled to launch on September 24 across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. With the release date approaching, players can now check whether their systems are ready to handle the title.

The published PC requirements are divided into two main categories depending on whether players plan to use ray-tracing technology. Running the game without ray-tracing is designed to be accessible for modern hardware. Enabling ray-tracing demands significantly more powerful components, as expected. Regardless of the graphical preset, every configuration shares three mandatory baseline requirements. PC players must have at least 16 GB of RAM, 120 GB of SSD storage space, and a device running Windows 10 or Windows 11 64-bit.

In addition to basic hardware needs, the PC edition of Control Resonant includes support for various advanced visual features. The game supports Nvidia DLSS 4.5 and AMD FSR 4.1 for upscaling and frame generation on compatible devices. Additional features include Path Tracing, Nvidia DLSS 4.5 Ray-Reconstruction, High Dynamic Range support, ultra-wide display compatibility, and an uncapped framerate.

Control Resonant has officially gone gold ahead of its September debut, though physical console editions experienced a delay. Digital players can dive into the experience right at launch, while physical buyers will wait a few weeks longer. Developer Remedy Entertainment estimates that completing the main campaign will take roughly 30 hours, with completionists adding another 20 hours to that total. The sequel expands significantly on the original title by offering a chunkier open world and plenty of optional content.
