Control Resonant Gets Hotfix to Ease Difficulty, Boost Dylan's Strength
Remedy Entertainment launches Hotfix 1.3.3 for Control Resonant, reducing enemy health pools and increasing player damage to improve early-game flow while maintaining challenge.

Control Resonant has officially launched alongside Hotfix 1.3.3, a balance update from Remedy Entertainment focused on easing the game's difficulty curve. The patch adjusts enemy health pools and Dylan's overall strength to make combat feel more manageable in the early hours.
"We strongly believe these changes will improve the gameplay feel and flow while still providing a challenge," Remedy Entertainment wrote in the hotfix notes. "Depending on player progression, enemies can feel too tanky during the early hours of the game."
The hotfix reduces base enemy health and the Falter level required to trigger the status effect, which sets up instant-kill finisher opportunities. Simultaneously, Aberrant strength and maximum Ability strength have been increased. Remedy is also lowering the cost of respeccing and expanding the stock of Reset Items across all vendors to encourage buildcrafting and experimentation. The first Resonant boss, The Artist, now drops two Reset Items instead of one.
For players seeking an easier experience, Assist Mode provides toggleable options including Dylan's immortality and one-hit kills, allowing focus on story and world-building. Remedy is also updating English UI text to better explain Build Power and Aberrant Strength mechanics, with translations coming to other languages in the future.
