Control Resonant Hits 2 Million Wishlists Ahead of September 24 Launch

Remedy Entertainment's Control Resonant has surpassed 2 million wishlists across all platforms just days before its release. The sequel launches September 24 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Remedy Entertainment announced that Control Resonant has crossed 2 million wishlists across all platforms ahead of its September 24 launch. The milestone represents significant momentum, up from 1.5 million wishlists recorded last month.

Steam pre-loads will begin 24 hours before launch. Players targeting 4K resolution at 60 frames per second on Ultra settings with Path Tracing will need high-end hardware, with Performance mode upscaling required even on capable systems.

Control Resonant launches on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Set seven years after the original 2019 Control, the story follows The Oldest House's lockdown being breached. The Hiss and The Mold escape into Manhattan streets alongside a new threat called The Patterning. With director Jesse Faden missing, her brother Dylan awakens from a coma to aid the Federal Bureau of Control.
