Code Vein 2 Mask of Idris DLC and Version 2.0 Update Launch

Bandai Namco has officially released both its Mask of Idris expansion and the free version 2.0 update for the action RPG Code Vein II. The new expansion can be purchased as part of the Deluxe Upgrade Pack for $24.99, or it is included directly in the game's Deluxe and Ultimate Editions. Alongside the release, a brand-new launch trailer has been published to showcase multiple compelling story beats, the Forbidden World, and a glimpse into the high-stakes adventure.

As a follow-up to the 2019 action RPG Code Vein, Code Vein II is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity's survival hangs in the balance. The emergence of the Luna Rapacis threat transforms Revenants—humans possessing supernatural abilities offset by severe bloodlust—into monstrous creatures known as Horrors. To rewrite the fate of the world, players travel back one hundred years into the past with the assistance of a mysterious girl named Lou MagMell.

The expansion brings new content to the table, including encounters with fresh faces who possess their own distinct stories and motivations. Additionally, the free version 2.0 update arrives alongside a new Trials Remembrance mode available to all current owners of the game. Code Vein II is currently available for players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
