Chiikawa Anime Gets Official English Dub Streaming Weekly on YouTube From October 1

The Chiikawa anime series is set to receive an official English language dub beginning October 1. Episodes will stream weekly on YouTube, giving international audiences a regular schedule for the localized version.

The announcement follows the release of a new Chiikawa feature-length film adaptation that became Japan's highest-grossing film of 2026. That box office performance likely contributed to the decision to produce an English dub for the series.

Weekly streaming on YouTube means viewers can access new dubbed episodes without a subscription to a dedicated anime service. The platform's global reach should make the series widely accessible shortly after each Japanese broadcast.

No details were provided about the dub cast, production studio, or whether the dub will cover previous seasons. The weekly rollout suggests a simulcast-style approach aligned with the ongoing Japanese release.
