Free Castlevania: Belmont's Curse Demo Available Now on All Platforms

Konami has released a free demo for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, available immediately on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The demo weighs just over 4 GB and represents the opening section of the full game.

Any progress made in the demo transfers directly to the full release, letting players start their playthrough early and resume where they left off when the game launches on October 15.

Castlevania: Belmont's Curse marks the first mainline entry in the series in over a decade. The Metroidvania action title is set in 1499 Paris and casts players as Rose Belmont, the successor to the legendary vampire-slaying bloodline. Armed with the iconic Vampire Killer whip alongside other weapons, relics, and magic, the game combines classic Castlevania gameplay with a fresh art style and modern features.

Early previews have been positive. The game runs at 60 frames per second on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, while Nintendo Switch runs at 30 frames per second on Switch 1. The PC version supports higher frame rates beyond 60 fps, and the Switch 2 version runs at higher frame rates than the Switch 1 iteration.

Players can download the demo now from the PlayStation Store, Steam, Nintendo eShop, and Xbox platforms.
