Bulkhead Announces September 3 Debut for FPS Games Show on Twitch
Studio Bulkhead and co-organizer Boost have announced the FPS Games Show, a collaborative, non-commercial digital showcase airing on September 3.
Studio Bulkhead and co-organizer Boost have announced a new digital showcase dedicated entirely to first-person shooters. Named the FPS Games Show, the pre-recorded broadcast is scheduled to debut live on September 3 at 19:00 BST / 20:00 CEST. The event will stream exclusively on Twitch via the official channel twitch.tv/thefpsgamesshow.
The debut showcase will feature 16 titles spanning the FPS genre, including prominent games such as Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Escape from Tarkov, Ready or Not, Gray Zone Warfare, Wardogs, and Hell Let Loose: Vietnam. The full lineup of participating titles also includes Stalzone, SCUM, Beautiful Light, Bellum, Incursion Red River, Road to Vostok, Sand Raiders of Sophie, Bodycam, 83, and Terminal War.
Unlike traditional marketing-driven gaming events, the FPS Games Show is structured so that no participating studio pays for placement or marketing spend. According to the organizers, every developer is participating for free to champion each other's projects rather than compete for attention. Bulkhead Chief Executive Officer Joe Brammer noted that while FPS games have built one of the industry's largest and most dedicated player communities, they remain underserved by broader, multi-genre showcases.
To expand the reach of the broadcast, participating studios, publishers, and creators will co-host the stream directly to their individual communities. The event is also being supported by Twitch and Steam. Twitch will assist participating developers and communities in broadening the broadcast's reach, while Steam will host a dedicated third-party platform event featuring game discounts, free demos, and free weekend trials for select titles.
