A new co-op indie game called Bombanana is gaining attention online for its unique cooperative mechanics. Developed around a team of four players acting as monkeys, the game restricts senses among the participants. One player cannot see, one cannot hear, and one cannot speak, creating communication challenges during bomb disposal tasks. This setup resembles the cooperative building game Team 3, which is also based on the concept of the three wise monkeys.

Gameplay requires distinct coordination roles. The player who cannot see is tasked with defusing the bomb, while another player holds the instruction manual but cannot speak. A middle player can see the bomb internals but cannot hear questions or instructions. Teams must establish strategies to relay information through these sensory limitations, such as detailing internal components, asking questions about switches, and passing instructions through the chain.

As players progress through the levels, the game introduces additional puzzles, increased distractions, and a finicky gauge that gradually slides upward to trigger an immediate explosion if left unmanaged. Despite the chaotic environment and frequent explosions, the title offers cooperative gameplay designed for group sessions.
