Bloomwalker Confirmed for PS5, Now Part of Ni no Kuni Universe
Netmarble's Studio Ghibli-inspired adventure Bloomwalker is expanding beyond Xbox and PC exclusivity to PlayStation 5, and has officially joined the Ni no Kuni franchise with Level-5's partnership.

Bloomwalker, the cosy adventure from South Korean developer Netmarble, is no longer exclusive to Xbox and PC. The game has been confirmed for PlayStation 5, marking its first expansion to another platform since its announcement last year.
The larger news is Bloomwalker's official integration into the Ni no Kuni universe. Level-5, the studio behind the original Ni no Kuni titles, is now partnering on the project. The partnership's scope remains unclear, but the new trailer shows higgledies, the small magical creatures from previous Ni no Kuni games, making an appearance in Bloomwalker.
Bloomwalker blends exploration with crafting mechanics as players clean away corruption from an open world. You'll recruit magical allies to help with the task and can customise your home, which is described as a cosy house with legs. The game still lacks a release window, though its reappearance suggests development is progressing.
The Ni no Kuni franchise has been relatively quiet in recent years, making Bloomwalker's confirmation as part of the universe a notable development for fans of the series.
