How to Romance Anca in The Blood of Dawnwalker
The Blood of Dawnwalker features romance options alongside its combat and revenge narrative. Here's how to build a relationship with Anca, your Latin-teaching companion from the village.

The Blood of Dawnwalker balances brutal combat with character relationships. If you're interested in romancing Anca, your village friend who teaches Latin, the path requires careful decision-making throughout specific quests.
Romancing Anca involves completing a series of missions where your choices determine whether the relationship progresses. You'll face trade-offs between pursuing your character Coen's revenge and investing time in the romance, so prioritize accordingly.
During the potion-crafting quest for your mother's aid, you can spend two time segments studying Latin with Anca if you have availability. When selecting a book, choose the one with the red cover and read poetry. Later, when a storm arrives, collect all eleven herbs to impress her. After completing Anca's ritual, offer to make her tea and select the dialogue option "It's my pleasure." This unlocks additional dialogue choices. Next, pick "Always? What do you mean" followed by "Your feelings toward me..."
When you return to Anca afterward, ask what she found in the books, express your gratitude for her help, and inquire how she sees you. A critical requirement: do not drink from the Font of Life during this quest, and ensure Anca uses it instead.
While there are multiple decision points along this romance path, you can miss one or two without losing the relationship entirely. Following these steps should result in successfully romancing Anca.
