Blood of Dawnwalker's Home Sweet Home Quest Offers Secret Ending and Legendary Rewards

The Blood of Dawnwalker features a complex quest called Home Sweet Home in which protagonist Coen becomes trapped in a circular nightmare after encountering the Astrologer during the "Who Pulls the Strings" quest. The nightmare forces players to repeatedly fight encounters without access to their equipped gear, making combat significantly more challenging.

The quest begins with Coen returning to his family home in the dream state. Players can interact with family members, including their father and siblings, before triggering a monster attack in the kitchen. A series of spirit skeletons and spectres must be defeated to progress, with a particular focus on eliminating a dangerous red spectre first due to its health-draining ranged attacks.

A major encounter within Home Sweet Home features the Keeper of Nightmares boss, which players face in a church setting. The fight rewards careful evasion and counterattack strategy, as well as successful parries that can interrupt aerial attacks.

Completing the initial loop of the nightmare leads to a second cycle where the well in the courtyard becomes covered in ice. Interacting with this frozen well triggers a cutscene revealing Coen's reflection and unlocks Shadowstep teleportation abilities. A trail of snow guides players to a southern cliff where a red portal appears.

Beyond this portal lies a funeral sequence requiring players to interact with specific characters in a set order: Alin at the coffin, Esme beside it, and Coen in the front pew. After leaving through the back exit, players pursue a boy through another portal into a forest meadow. Interacting with objects in this meadow, including a pair of skates, reveals story and character details before the path west leads to a cliff descent via Clawride.

Successfully completing these steps allows players to interact with Alin one final time, ending the dream and returning to the Tower. The quest rewards include the Legendary Astrologer's Ring, which grants multiple buffs to Witchcraft abilities and Activation Charge stats.
