Blood of Dawnwalker Developers Confirm 60 FPS Performance Mode for Launch
Following fan feedback, Rebel Wolves has confirmed that Blood of Dawnwalker will feature a 60 FPS Performance Mode on consoles when it launches on September 3.
Developer Rebel Wolves has officially confirmed that Blood of Dawnwalker will feature a 60 FPS Performance Mode on consoles at launch, following an extensive wave of fan feedback and community concern.
The clarification follows a previous console performance showcase video released by the developers, which capped the maximum shown frame rate at 40 FPS, even on the PlayStation 5 Pro. That initial reveal raised concerns among players regarding console performance targets. However, a new post on X by the official Blood of Dawnwalker account addressed those worries, explaining that the performance mode was still undergoing testing at the time of the previous video, which is why it was omitted from the initial announcement.
After addressing widespread feedback from fans, the development team prioritized the performance mode during subsequent testing phases. With testing completed successfully, Rebel Wolves now has the confidence to promise the 60 FPS option on day one.
Blood of Dawnwalker is developed by Rebel Wolves and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The title is scheduled to release on September 3 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
