Battlefield 6 Free Trial Launches on Xbox and Other Platforms for a Limited Time

BF Studios has officially announced that Battlefield 6 is free to try on all platforms starting today and running through until August 25th. According to reports covering the announcement, the limited-time free trial period coincides with an upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta.

The free-to-play window serves as a celebration for Battlefield 6 Season 4's Top Gun-themed update, which brings iconic aerial dogfights inspired by the films into the sandbox shooter. Participants in the free trial will have access to both of the game's new maps, Wake Island and Tsuru Reef, alongside the limited-time Carrier Strike game mode. Players can access these via Battlefield: REDSEC on their preferred platforms, which includes Xbox Series X | S, PS5, and PC. Existing owners of Battlefield 6 will also be able to intercept free trial participants within those playlists.
