Ball x Pit's Risen Ballbylon DLC Launches November 12 With 8 Characters, 24 Balls, and 4 New Battlefields

Devolver Digital has revealed the upcoming Risen Ballbylon DLC for Ball x Pit, arriving on November 12 for $6.99. The expansion flips the game's structure by having players ascend to a sky city before descending back to upgrade their stats, echoing a similar approach used in Hades II.

The DLC includes four new battlefields, each with unique bosses and over 40 new enemies to encounter. Players will also gain access to 45 new passive abilities such as Lucky Coin, Eldritch Gauntlet, Vampire's Kiss, Volatile Explosive, and Relentless Whip.

Eight new characters join the roster with distinct mechanics. The Sentinel can aim in any direction, The Stonewaller's balls warp to the opposite side after hitting a wall for the first time, and The Right Hand Man deals double damage when balls hit the right wall but half damage on the left.

Risen Ballbylon adds 24 new balls for players to experiment with and combine. These include the Beast ball, which latches onto enemies and continues damaging them until death; the Kaiju ball, which causes earthquakes; the Misfortune ball, which curses enemies; and the Hedgehog ball, a spiky variant.

Base-building mechanics receive significant expansion with 20 new structures. Players can construct a Floating Fortress, Crystal Monolith, Soup Kitchen, Circus Tent, and Fission Chamber among others. A new resource called crystals adds complexity to the village economy.

The expansion requires completing the base game to access. Ball x Pit has received three free expansions since launch, making this the first paid DLC.
