arT sidelined from ESL Pro League S24 after meningitis diagnosis

Legacy have announced that Andrei arT Piovezan will miss ESL Pro League Season 24 after contracting meningitis. The Brazilian IGL requires a recovery period of at least 10 days, forcing him to sit out the Katowice event.

"arT is under medical care and in the recovery process and should remain sidelined for at least 10 days," Legacy's statement read. "We are following all necessary guidelines to ensure his well-being."

The squad will travel to the event with Pedro bobz Rocha as a substitute. Rocha has not featured for a team since 2024, when he played for MIBR Academy. He has since worked as an assistant coach for Fluxo and Yawara before joining Legacy as an analyst in recent months.

The absence marks a setback for Legacy, who have shown strong form recently. The team took third place at Esports World Cup and won the FISSURE Playground 3 tournament in their last outing.

Legacy will compete at ESL Pro League with the following roster: Eduardo dumau Wolkmer, Bruno latto Rebelatto, Vinicius n1ssim Pereira, Santino try Rigal, Pedro bobz Rocha (stand-in), and Alan adrrr Riveros (coach).

"We will keep everyone informed about arT's progress in the coming days," Legacy's statement continued. "We thank anyone who can leave a message of support and affection here at this time!"
