Arena Breakout: Infinite Season 7 'Utopia' Update Officially Revealed With Zombie Modes
MoreFun Studios has officially unveiled Arena Breakout: Infinite Season 7, titled Utopia, featuring two zombie-themed modes, community-influenced balancing, and new weapons starting September 16th.

MoreFun Studios has officially unveiled the upcoming Season 7 update for Arena Breakout: Infinite, titled "Utopia." Scheduled to launch on September 16th, this massive overhaul introduces a biohazard-themed direction for the extraction shooter, bringing fresh gameplay experiences, new zombie modes, and a comprehensive suite of balance adjustments heavily influenced by the community.
The headline addition in Season 7 is the inclusion of two distinct zombie-themed modes. The first is a PvPvE mode named "Infected Zone," which spans across the Farm, Valley, and Airport maps. This mode features two difficulty tiers: Infected Zone and Heavy Infected Zone, corresponding directly to Lockdown and Forbidden difficulties respectively. Specifically, the Valley map is set to Infected Zone, while Farm and Airport are set to Heavy Infected Zone. Players can interact with exclusive containers, emergency missions, and a merchant system where they can sell miscellaneous items for high-value loot and information. Additionally, the mode introduces an out-of-match progression system called "Zombie Research," allowing players to earn points in infected zones to unlock various abilities.
Alongside the PvPvE offering, MoreFun Studios is introducing a purely PvE-centric experience titled "Zombie Endless." This mode allows players to select roles, acquire equipment, and survive against endless hordes of bloodthirsty undead enemies.
In addition to the new zombie modes, the Season 7 update introduces several weapons—such as the A545 and AK-15SC—accompanied by a string of new attachments. New attachments are also arriving for established firearms like the PCC-9, M110, FAL, and MPX. Combat balance has been adjusted with increased effective range and headset effectiveness across the weapon base. Furthermore, T5 and T6 armor penetration random number generation (RNG) stats have been removed, flashlights have been nerfed, and mode-based ammo and gear have been capped. Post-combat recognition has also received improvements, including fresh inspection animations for dogtags and new options for players to share raid highlights and achievements.
