Modder TiMan has released a new project called Bunker's Edge, which converts Frictional Games' horror title Amnesia: The Bunker into a free-running experience reminiscent of Mirror's Edge. Created for Frictional Games' 2026 modding jam, the modification transports protagonist Henri through a portal from a war-ravaged French trench to a pristine skyline. The HPL engine, originally built to deliver darkness and shadows, handles the bright and colorful environment.

The modification implements various free-running mechanics, including mantling, sliding, wall-running, pipe-climbing, runner's vision, and 180-degree wall-jumps. Despite the change in scenery, the project retains horror elements because the monster from the base game follows Henri through the portal and chases him across the rooftops. The experience runs for about 15 minutes, and features awkward movement physics in places, alongside an unexpected ending.

Frictional Games developed the original title and is currently working on its next project, a sci-fi adventure named Ontos that shares similarities with 2015's Soma.
