American Truck Simulator Details Road Trip Quick Jobs and Dispatch Market

SCS Software has shared new details regarding the upcoming Road Trip expansion for American Truck Simulator, highlighting quick jobs, the dispatch market, and courier ratings.

SCS Software has revealed new gameplay details for the upcoming Road Trip expansion in American Truck Simulator, focusing specifically on quick jobs and the dispatch market. Players will not need to own a car to take on quick jobs, as a vehicle will be provided by the employer. Employers will also cover the costs of fuel and repairs while players transport small packages, documents, or transfer cars between dealerships.

Upon completing a delivery, players will receive performance evaluations based on Time Management, Vehicle Appearance, and Cargo Handling. Review criteria vary depending on the job type and client preferences. Arriving too early can negatively impact time management scores just as easily as arriving late. These evaluations determine a star rating that builds an overall Courier Rating, which influences mission availability, travel distance, and earnings. Maintaining consistent top performance builds a Perfect Delivery Streak for bonus financial rewards.

Players who own a personal car gain access to the Dispatch Market, which operates similarly to the established Freight Market used for trucks. The Road Trip expansion broadens the simulator experience from commercial trucks to cars and pickup trucks. This upcoming feature set includes pure exploration, customized rides through an Atlas feature, and specialized vehicle packs featuring Ford and Dodge models.
