American Truck Simulator's Road Trip mode and Ford Car Pack launch September 29

American Truck Simulator's Road Trip mode will launch on September 29, 2026, alongside the Ford Car Pack DLC. The new game mode introduces cars, pickup trucks and SUVs to SCS Software's trucking simulation.

The Ford Car Pack will include four vehicles: the 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback, 2023 F-150 pickup, and 1998-2012 Ford Crown Victoria. Road Trip mode offers new gameplay features including courier jobs and an exploration mechanic called Atlas, which rewards players for discovering tourist boards, points of interest, viewpoints and photo trophy locations.

Road Trip was first revealed in July 2025. Development accelerated in recent months, with gameplay teasers and a hands-on reveal at Gamescom building anticipation ahead of launch. The Ford Car Pack is available to wishlist on Steam now, though pricing remains unconfirmed. SCS Software plans to release the RAM and Dodge Car Pack DLC following the Ford collection, with other manufacturers potentially announced later.
