As pointed out by Star Wars Holocron on social media, the enigmatic makeup on the character's face bears a striking resemblance to the markings of the Son, a powerful dark side Force god introduced during the famous Mortis arc in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

For viewers unfamiliar with that lore-heavy storyline, the original Mortis episodes followed Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan Kenobi to a strange planet inhabited by three entities representing the Force: the light-aligned Daughter, the dark-aligned Son, and the Father who maintained balance.
