Age of Transport: Blue Marble Announced for PC Early Access
Amazing Games has launched the Steam page for Age of Transport: Blue Marble, a transport and industry simulation built on a 1:4 scale model of Earth.
Developer Amazing Games has officially announced Age of Transport: Blue Marble, a new transport and industry simulation game. The title is built on a 1:4 scale model of Earth that is installed locally without requiring streaming, featuring over 70,000 real cities across 35 million square kilometers of land.
Unlike traditional simulations, the game features no conventional currency. Instead, all costs derive directly from labor. For example, a locomotive is manufactured from components like a boiler, frame, and wheel sets produced from ore that players haul themselves. The gameplay focuses on realistic mechanics, requiring players to dispatch trains manually, organize and sort train cars in classification yards, and construct tracks using individual components such as rails, sleepers, fastenings, and ballast.
The simulation spans twelve distinct eras from the 1830s to the present day, played as one continuous run. It features 199 goods across production chains up to nine steps deep, alongside more than 2,500 vehicles originating from over 400 unique base models. Ships and aircraft operate with similar realism, and persistent multiplayer supports up to 255 companies per world running continuously even when hosts are offline.
Age of Transport: Blue Marble is scheduled to launch in Early Access on PC in 2027. MaxGG News reports on ongoing industry announcements.
