Ace Combat 8 Wings of Theve Pre-Orders Open with Ace Combat Zero Bonus

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve pre-orders are now available across multiple platforms and retailers. The game launches October 2 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, priced at $69.99 / £64.95 for the standard edition.

The key incentive for pre-ordering is a free copy of Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War, the PS2 classic originally released in 2006. Bandai Namco Brand Director Kazutoki Kono confirmed in an interview that the game is "strictly prepared as a bonus" with "no plans to sell it separately." This mirrors the approach used with Ace Combat 5, which was also a pre-order bonus for Ace Combat 7.

A Deluxe Edition is available for an additional $20 / £20, offering 3 days of early access, a Premium Ace Pass Plus Voucher, and a customizable cosmetic set. All pre-orders of either edition include Ace Combat Zero.

Physical copies are available at major US retailers including Amazon ($69), Best Buy ($69.99), Walmart ($69), and GameStop ($69.99). UK players can pre-order from Amazon UK (£64.95), Very (£64.95), TheGameCollection (£64.95), and Currys (£69.99).

For those seeking premium collectibles, Bandai Namco offers a Joker Flight Pack through its online store, which includes the base game, Deluxe Edition content, an artbook titled "ACES at WAR A HISTORY 2029," 2LP vinyl records, and a slipmat. A Premium Joker Flight Pack adds an XXL Gaming Mousepad with LED lighting and a woven patch. A Hori Ace Combat 8 Flight Stick is also available for $129.99 through Amazon.

Deluxe Edition pre-orders include 3 days of early access, allowing players to begin on September 29. Standard edition players will start on the October 2 launch date.
