007 First Light Free DLC Teased for October 1 Release

IO Interactive has announced that free DLC is coming to 007 First Light, with full details and release scheduled for October 1. The developers shared the news via the game's official X account on September 29.

The teaser offers limited clues about the DLC's contents. A video shows a car zooming past a scenic route, accompanied by the caption "A free DLC is just around the bend." This imagery suggests the content may be vehicle-focused, though IO Interactive has not confirmed specifics.

007 First Light has a history of free post-launch support. Update 1.1.0 previously introduced two new TacSim missions, a new weapon, and cosmetics. Players have also been told about an upcoming mission called "Bawma," which takes place in Mauritania and features off-road driving encounters.

The game's Year One content roadmap shows that Tactical Simulation Mode will receive new content throughout the year. The "Bawma will return" mission is described as bringing players back to "Aleph's dangerous black market in Mauritania, where players can prove their driving skills in off-road encounters." The off-road detail aligns with the car-themed teaser, though IO Interactive has not explicitly confirmed whether this mission is the free DLC arriving October 1.

Players can expect full details when the announcement drops on October 1.
