Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition Console Launches on November 13th for $900

Microsoft has officially announced the Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition console, following previous rumors regarding its release date and price. The special hardware bundle will cost $899.99 and is scheduled to launch on November 13th. Pre-orders for the console and its matching controller are set to open for the general public on August 27th at 7 AM PDT, while select "loyal fans" have already begun receiving notification emails to pre-order early.

The console features a chassis designed with Master Chief’s iconic helmet and includes a unique engraved number on each unit to reinforce its limited edition status. Bundled with the system is a download code for Halo: Campaign Evolved, a remake of Bungie's classic first-person shooter. Additionally, Xbox plans to include several hidden design Easter eggs.

For players who want the matching hardware separately, the standalone controller will launch earlier on October 20th. It channels the original Xbox aesthetic with translucent green styling and white and black left and right bumpers that call back to the original controller's face buttons.

Despite recent hardware challenges and discussions surrounding the Xbox brand, the release serves as a high-end tribute. Meanwhile, industry speculation continues to point toward a rumored Holiday 2027 window for Project Helix.
