Xbox is introducing Mythic Achievements, a new accomplishment tier that rewards players for completing every achievement in a game. Similar to PlayStation's platinum trophies, Mythic Achievements represent the highest level of completion available in supported titles.

When players unlock a Mythic Achievement, their system triggers a lengthy animation and sound effect running almost 15 seconds in total, providing digital celebration for the accomplishment. According to TrueAchievements, Mythic Achievements are worth zero Gamerscore and are tracked separately from standard achievements.

Xbox CEO Asha Sharma teased the rollout of these new awards back in August. The feature is now rolling out to PC and Xbox players as the company continues to evolve its achievement system, which has remained largely unchanged since its introduction decades ago.
